About Leslie

A shepherd of the long road home

Leslie Gregory writes not as a man who has arrived, but as one who knows the road — and the God who patiently rewrites old scripts.

His story

Forty years of ministry. One continuing renewal.

Leslie Gregory serves as the Central Recovery Groups Pastor at Lakepointe Church in Texas. For more than four decades he has walked alongside individuals and families navigating addiction, shame, relational fracture, and the slow work of spiritual renewal.

His teaching integrates biblical theology with practical recovery principles — a clear, reproducible pathway toward lasting transformation through grace, truth, and time. It is a message he did not learn in a classroom; he learned it in his own kitchen, his own marriage, his own fathering — where old reflexes met the renewing mercy of God.

Transformation Over Affirmation is the fruit of that walk: honest about the sentences that shaped him, and hopeful about the identity that is rewriting them.

Leslie and his wife, Debbie, live in Texas, where they enjoy investing in their children and grandchildren.
